At 8:30 am on July 3, the 2021 Tsinghua University Faculty Swimming Competition was held at the West Lake Swimming Pool。The faculty and staff representatives of Tsinghua High School worked hard and won the top two places in this competition, a record high。

This competition set up a total of breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke and relay and other big and small events, Tsinghua University departments and departments a total of more than 150 people participated in this swimming competition。The affiliated Middle School trade union responded positively, and the faculty and staff actively participated。In the single event，Ms. Jicheng won the first place in female B 100-meter breaststroke and 50-meter backstroke;Ms. Zhao Ran won the first place of women's 50m backstroke and the second place of 100m breaststroke.Mr. Wang Peng won the first place of men's 200m breaststroke and the second place of 100m breaststroke.Mr. Mu Yue won the second place in men's 100 meters freestyle and the third place in men's 100 meters breaststroke。Other teachers also received excellent grades。

For the first year of the competition, there was a mixed 4×50 relay。As the final project, the team composed of teachers Jicheng and Zhao Ran as the core of the Affiliated High School cooperated and worked hard, and finally won the second place, fully demonstrating the heroic character and spirit of the Affiliated High School athletes。

The competition was organized by the trade union and the Swimming Association, and was supported by many swimming enthusiasts in the Affiliated High School。The competition fully demonstrated the spirit of "no sports, no Tsinghua" and showed the results of active exercise in peacetime。The school also hopes that through such competitions, more faculty and staff will be encouraged to participate in swimming, strengthen their physical fitness, and work for the health of the motherland for at least 50 years。
